This, Cardiff's ninth Mardi Gras, was surely the busiest on record! Once again the castle grounds were overrun with gays, lesbians, bisexual, the trans community and their friends for a fabulous party in the park! The sunshine even joined us for the last few hours of partying before heading back into town for the street party.

As well as giving the main political parties and charities the chance to talk to the gathered LGBT crowd, the main stage and cabaret tents included household names such as the Boy George Experience, Kitty Litter, the Sheila's Wheels girls, Pixie Perez and Nicki French.
