Glasgow gets REAL!

There's long been more to Glasgow than the oft-reported tendency towards deep-fried confectionary. The scene in Glasgow is something we recommend everyone samples at least once, with a small, but perfectly formed gay village (not to mention one of the most grand erotica shops we've seen!). Those Celtic boys and girls have earned the city a reputation of being one of the friendliest in the UK, although if you're offered a Glasgow Kiss, we suggest politely declining and running as fast as you can...

Since her stint as European City of Culture in 1990, the city has nurtured a growing collection of arts, museums and performance venues - there's plenty to do during daylight hours too.

Glasgow has now been given the Real City Network treatment, ensuring that both visitors and residents will now find up to the minute listings of what's on at the city's gay and gay-friendly bars, pubs, clubs and community organisations.
