Yes the Liverpool Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender Film Festival is back and looking fabulous. Now in it’s fifth year, the programme for this years events boasts some mighty cinematic wonders including the UK Premiere of the glorious musical comedy ‘Were the World Mine’ and the new movie from Gay Times columnist Bruce LaBruce, the gay zombie flick ‘Otto; Or, Up With Dead People’. Thirty plus screenings will be held as well as appearances from numerous guests including poet, film critic and Trans superstar Roz Kaveney; filmmakers Julian Cole and Jim Hubbard and the poet, prophet, playwright and activist Larry Kramer. Outsiders has always impressed queer cinema lovers and critics alike and seems set to do again in 2008 as the combination of quality films, great guests and Outsiders passionate organisers ensure this is one event you need to attend.
