Brighton Tavern, Brighton

brighton tavern... a great little pub in the North Laine area

Standing proudly in the BoHo-esque area of Brighton's North Laine, the Brighton Tavern attracts a healthy mix of regulars and visitors. Stripped of pretention, the wood flooring, long benches, chairs and tables tip a wink to the trendy locale, while the traditional bar, open fireplace and friendly staff underline a more homely pub feel.

As well as being within easy walking distance of the main railway station, the Brighton Tavern is only a few blocks from Brighton's theatre, shopping and nightlife districts, making it a great stop-off to or from an event in your hectic lives or, as we know only too well, a great place to spend the whole evening.

Tony, Adam & Dave have recently taken over the reigns of this great Brighton pub and guarantee a warm welcome to customers old and new. The Brighton Tavern promises a number of new events so do keep an eye on our listings for up to date information.

Patrick "Without question the friendliest bar in Brighton unless Jim is working... in which case it's the wittiest."
Timbo "Great for a drink at any time. And just round the corner from my office, which is handy :o)"
Samwell "What a pleasure to have such a friendly local! I miss Jamie getting nearly naked on a Tuesday."
Midnighter "It feels like a gay pub in a provincial town - as if St. James street wasn't happening just a few streets away. It's quiet and you can sit down... I'm a country lad, it's what I'm used to."
JamieMC "I work there! Apart from it being a nice, relaxing place, where all the customers are so friendly and laid back, they are all so kind... especially as they all voted for me as Brighton's Best Bar Boy in this year's Golden Handbag Awards!"
Timmy "Relaxed and away from St James St."
